Project Highlights: The Project is the City of Yonkers portion of a fully-buried, HVDC electric transmission line from the U.S.-Canada border to New York City (the “Transmission System”) that will be up to 1,250-MW. The Transmission System will play a key role in New York’s energy transformation, lowering greenhouse gas emissions, creating jobs, and generating billions of dollars in new investment in New York’s economy while delivering low-cost renewable energy to New York State
